NeidanWiki was created and is maintained by Fabrizio Pregadio (Xuanying 玄英). It is based on my databases of Taoist and Neidan texts. All pages, including this introduction, are “in preparation”. I do not follow a precise order in adding pages and data, therefore different pages contain varying amounts of information.

Below are details on the main parts of NeidanWiki.

Texts

Many Taoist texts are included in collections under slightly different titles, and in a few cases, under entirely different titles. To address this issue, NeidanWiki adopts a single title for each text and indicates in parentheses any variant title under which it appears in a collection. For instance, the page on the Wuzhen pian zhushu 悟真篇注疏 contains this entry in the section “Editions and Reprints”:

正統道藏 DZ 141 (HY 141; TY 141; ZHDZ 19/58) （紫陽真人悟真篇注疏）

This means that the Daozang (DZ) edition of the Wuzhen pian zhushu 悟真篇注疏 is entited Ziyang zhenren Wuzhen pian zhushu 紫陽真人悟真篇注疏.

Editions and Reprints

With few exceptions, this section lists editions included in collectanea that have been reprinted in their entirety (e.g., the Zhengtong Daozang 正統道藏 and the Chongkan Daozang jiyao 重刊道藏輯要) and editions available in the following compilations of reprints:

A few collectanea for which, to my knowledge, no complete reprint is available (e.g., the Yihua yuanzong 一化元宗) are also included. Editions published outside of collectanea are only included if they are available in a compilation of reprints.
