A commentary to the Chiwen donggu jing 赤文洞古經. The Daozang contains another version of this work with Changquan zi's commentary, entitled Taigu jingzhu 太古經注 (DZ 102).

Daozang tiyao (Ren Jiyu and Zhong Zhaopeng)

金長筌子註。《太上赤文洞古經》，《道藏》只有註本，“本文”類無。洞真部玉訣類另有李道純《無上赤文洞古真經註》。

此註本與《元始天尊說太古經註》（洞真部玉訣類）基本相同，註者和經前之序亦相同。但此本經文少一結語和頌，兩者經文異字異文亦較多，此本註文不釋經題和結語，其他完全相同。似為同一書之兩種版本。

經文分三章：《操真章》、《入聖章》、《住世章》。經文甚短，各章僅數十字。大意是述無動無為是萬物之本；不視不聽為眾妙之門；“養其無象”，“守其無體”，則可長生。註文採道釋之旨而以道為宗。謂修道者應抱元守一，清靜無為，“歸根復命”。

清人李涵虛輯入《太上十三經》，其題解云：“赤文喻紫氣紅光，洞古喻觀見本來面目，經喻藥物，為操真人聖之用。”

Zhengtong Daozang tiyao (Hsiao Teng-fu)

註文與《元始天尊說太古經註》相同，而較簡畧，二書同為長筌子不同時期的刊本，此書應刊於早期。

此書與《元始天尊說太古經註》同為金元道士長筌子所註，註中將經文分〈操真章上〉、〈入聖章中〉、〈住世章下〉三章以作註。《元始天尊說太古經註》、《太上赤文洞古經註》二者在經文方面，畧有微異及詳畧，長筌子之註亦有詳簡之別，在《元始天尊說太古經註》上，長筌子註語多了解釋經題及結尾處經文之註，較為詳盡，疑《元始天尊說太古經註》較後完成。詳本書0102《元始天尊說太古經註》條。
