| 此書託為鐘離權、呂洞賓傳授。言內丹之法,尚有導引咽津、跪拜稽首之原始色彩,當在張伯端之前,蓋出唐末五代。
是書依小乘、中乘、大乘分作上、中、下三卷。小乘安樂延年法凡四門,言匹配陰陽、聚散水火、交媾龍虎、燒鍊丹藥。中乘長生不死法凡三門,言肘後飛金晶、玉液還丹、金液還丹。大乘超凡入聖法凡三門,言朝元、內觀、超脫。門各一篇,三卷凡十篇。論述呼吸積氣、生液還元,聚散水火,採補還丹、勒陽關、日月周天、咽津、金液煉形、靜坐忘機、存想入定、神遊洞天諸步驟,不外乎鍊精氣神成丹昇仙之道。

| 此書是晚唐五代時錢雕權所著,而傳予呂洞賓。書中三卷,分述小乘安樂延平、中乘長生不死、大乘超凡入聖,共十車。以為礦物的黑鉛紅汞不能成丹,只有心火腎水,陰陽升降,方是金液玉液,成就還丹之藥。f中所言皆內丹修煉法門。
書名下題「正陽真人鍾離權雲房著,純陽真人呂函洞賓傳」。書前有鍾離權所撰序,說自己在終南山石壁間,獲得《靈寶經》三十卷,「予宵衣旰食,遠慮深省,乃悟陰中有陽,陽中有陰,本天地升降之宜,日月交合之理。氣中生水,水中生氣,亦心、腎交合之理。比物之象,道不遠人。配合甲庚,方驗金丹之有準。抽添卯酉,自然火候之無差。紅鉛黑鉛,徹底不成大藥。金液玉液,到頭方是還丹。」因而總而為三乘之法,撰成《靈寶畢法》,以「傅洞賓足下」。書分三卷,卷上「小乘安樂延年法四門」,依次為〈匹配陰陽第一〉、〈聚散水火第二〉、〈交媾龍虎第三〉、〈燒煉丹藥第四〉。卷中「中乘長生不死法三門」,依次為:〈肘後飛金晶第五〉、〈玉液還丹第六〉、〈金液還丹第七〉。卷下為「大乘超凡入聖法三門」,依次為:〈朝元第八〉、〈內觀第九〉、〈超脫第十〉。依卷上小乘法四門修煉,所成就者為人仙。依卷中中乘長生不死三門修煉者,為地仙·依卷下大乘超凡入聖三門修煉者,為天仙。
書中以心、腎比天地,以氣、液比陰陽,以子午比冬夏,以一日比一年,依《易經》卦氣配合節氣運行。〈交媾龍虎第三〉云:「子時乃曰坎卦,腎中氣生。午時乃曰離卦,氣到心。腎氣與心氣相合而太極生液,所以生液者,以氣自腎中來,氣中有真水,其水無形。離卦到心,接著心氣,則太極而生液者如此。」修煉之法,在使心、腎二氣相交,透三關(尾閒曰下關,夹脊曰中關,腦下曰上關)至於頂,玉液煉形,三百日大藥成就。使五臟之氣聚而成嬰兒,更修之使聚陽神以入天神,煉之而合道,超出凡軀而入聖品,「既出而復入,入而不出,則形神俱妙,與天地齊年而浩劫不死。既入而復出,出而不入,如蟬脫蛻,遷神入聖。是以超凡脫俗,以為真人仙子」。
鍾離權、呂洞賓二人的修仙理論,後來影響宋元仙道內丹修煉之說甚大。內丹雖在中晚唐已有人論及,但經鍾、呂而昌盛。
